Why Moab?

Moab, UT is one of my favorite places to visit.  It's beauty is internationally known and commonly shared via pictures but the experience in person is simply breathtaking.  To view nature's majestic art on earth's canvas, transports the mind to a calm and peace that is unlike any other.

When I bike, I reach a calmness where my mind is free of any distractions ... no thoughts of pending deadlines or scheduled events.  As I pedal along, I take in the scents and the sounds around me while I remain alert of trail obstacles, other riders, or crossings.  My focus is on the wheel and the trail ahead.  My eyes are constantly scoping ahead in preparation of what is to come.  

I like to tackle my life in that same manner and it's my goal to give you the tools to do the same.  Remove yourself from your everyday distractions and give yourself some precious time to focus on you.  

Surround yourself with nature's beauty and find your thoughts whisked away by the amazement and awe of what surrounds you.  Allow your body, mind and soul to reach a level of peace that will let your mind wonder and explore the creative ideas that are normally suppressed as you tackle your everyday routine.

When was the last time you gave yourself the space to explore what you really want, create a plan and move forward on it?

THE DESIRE MAP Retreat – LEVEL 1 is a program for clarifying what you truly want in every area of your life, and using that powerful awareness to guide your choices from now on. We're not going to just sit around and talk about it though, we're going to put into practice in the majestic utah desert. 

You will leave this retreat knowing your “core desired feelings” – a guidance system for your decision-making. A GPS for your soul.

We’ll look at our perceptions around “feelings” and goal setting. We’ll examine how we drive and strive, and see where in our lives we experience freedom — and where we want more of it.

You will be guided through 5 life areas, to explore your most desired feelings in:

  • Lifestyle + Livelihood
  • Creativity + Learning
  • Body + Wellness
  • Relationships + Society
  • Essence + Spirituality

We will create sacred space (inner and outer), backed by the majestic Utah desert, an  abundance of fun and adventure and it will be tied together with shared intentions.

We’re going to burn limiting beliefs (figuratively, and maybe literally.)

We will offer up our own wisdom, relate, and learn from each other — like women always do.

You will make some soul-anchored declarations and attach them to some every day PLANS. Poetic to the practical.

As we go deep with desire mapping, we’ll also be moving our bodies and through various outdoor (optional) activities in the Moab desert including yoga, hiking, biking and other adventures .

The retreat is limited to 15 spaces.

We’ll meet from Thursday May 14 (evening) Sunday May 17 (Morning). 

There will be plenty of time for downtime, fun, connection, adventure and transformation.

Plan for aha’s and alleluias. After declaring their core desired feelings, people have been known to make changes.

You may quit stuff, launch something, stand up, shine brighter, ask for more.

You may feel the way you’ve always wanted to.

$1299 -  in two installments ($400 deposit + $899 by April 1st)

  • Shared accommodations for 3 nights in a luxurious apartment (Moab Flats) one block from the eclectic downtown area.  We'll have the whole complex (8 units) to ourselves.  Some apartments have 2 beds and others have 3.  Please indicate on the registration form if you have a preference for roommates.
